Recruitment has been done for 73 vacant posts of Junior Clerk, Assistant Branch Officer, Assistant Legislative Assembly in Bihar Legislative Assembly, for which the online application process will be started from 29 January 2024. To participate in this recruitment, candidates can complete the application process by 15 February 2024. The last date for submission of applications has been fixed as 17 February 2024.

Job Desk, New Delhi. There is good news for the candidates seeking government jobs in Bihar Legislative Assembly. Bihar Legislative Assembly has announced the recruitment by issuing a notification for the vacant posts of Assistant Branch Officer and Assistant Legislator.

According to the notification, the application process for this recruitment will be started from 29 January 2024. Eligible and interested candidates will be able to fill the application for this recruitment through online mode by visiting the official website The last date for filling the application form has been fixed as 15 February 2024.

A total of 73 vacant posts will be appointed through this recruitment. Out of this, 50 posts of Assistant Branch Officer, 4 posts of Assistant Legislator and 19 posts of Junior Clerk are vacant.

Bihar Vidhan Sabha Junior Clerk Recruitment 2024: Who can apply?
To participate in this recruitment, the candidate must have a graduation or its equivalent degree from a university/institute recognized by the State Government/Central Government. Along with this, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years. The maximum age for reserved male candidates has been fixed at 37 years, for BC/EBC/female general category and 42 years for SC/ST category. Age will be calculated keeping in mind the date of 1st August 2023. For more information related to recruitment, please read the notification.

To apply for Junior Clerk posts, candidates must have passed Intermediate or its equivalent. To participate in this recruitment, the minimum age has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age group has been fixed at 37/40/42 years.

Bihar Vidhan Sabha Bharti 2024: Application Fee
In this recruitment, along with filling the application form, candidates will also have to deposit the prescribed fee, only then your form will be accepted. For Unreserved/ BC/ EBC/ EWS category, candidates will have to deposit Rs 600 as application fee, while SC/ ST/ Women and Disabled candidates will have to pay Rs 150.
