The BPSC has extended the deadline for submitting online applications for Head Master and Head Teacher jobs to April 10. Originally, the deadline to apply online was April 2. Candidates may apply online for 6,061 Head Master positions and 40,247 Head Teacher vacancies.

BPSC Head Teacher and Headmaster Last Date Extended: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has extended the deadline for collecting online applications for head teachers and headmasters. Candidates who are interested and eligible may apply online until April 10. Previously, the deadline to apply online was April 2.

All qualifying standards remain unchanged, i.e., candidates must be no older than 58 years old by August 1, 2024, and have at least 8 years of primary teaching experience. The retirement age is 60 years.

Head Master: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% from a recognized university. Candidates should also have passed the teacher eligibility test and earned a D.El.Ed., B.T., B.Ed., B.A.Ed., B.Sc.Ed., or B.L.Ed. Candidates must also have eight years of experience teaching secondary students in a state government school or twelve years in a CBSE, ACSE, or BSEB-accredited school.
