Greetings from Bansal Academy!
Yes, candidates appearing for the CSIR NET exam are subject to certain age restrictions. For the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the maximum age limit for general category candidates is usually 28 years. However, there are relaxations in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PWD and for women candidates.
For Lectureship (LS), there is no upper age limit prescribed by the CSIR. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for LS irrespective of their age.
At Bansal Academy, we provide comprehensive coaching for CSIR NET aspirants, including detailed guidance on eligibility criteria and age relaxations. Our CSIR ENT coaching program includes previous year papers, syllabus coverage, and expert guidance to help candidates navigate through the exam process successfully.
