Can a student with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry apply for the CSIR NET exam in Chemical Science? I have completed or am currently pursuing my MSc in Biochemistry and want to know if I’m eligible for this exam. Could you provide detailed information on the eligibility criteria for MSc Biochemistry students applying for the CSIR NET Chemical Science exam? Specifically, I’d like to know if MSc Biochemistry students are eligible to apply for the Chemical Science exam and if there are any specific requirements or conditions for them. Additionally, insights into whether MSc Biochemistry students need to fulfill any additional criteria, such as prerequisite courses or qualifications, would be helpful. Moreover, if there are any differences in eligibility criteria for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and LS (Lectureship), I’d like to know about those as well. Understanding the eligibility criteria will help me determine if I can apply for the CSIR NET Chemical Science exam with my Biochemistry background.
