Yes, CSIR NET follows a passing mark system. To qualify the CSIR NET exam, candidates need to score the minimum qualifying marks as per the CSIR guidelines. The cutoff marks vary each year and are different for different subjects.
Candidates who score equal to or more than the cutoff marks are considered qualified for CSIR NET and are eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/or Lectureship.
