For the position of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Kendriya Vidyalaya, the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is not compulsory. CTET is required for the recruitment of Primary Teachers (PRT) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT). For PGT positions, you need to have a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree.
