What are the age criteria for the CSIR NET exam?

The age criteria for the CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test) exam are as follows:

1. Junior Research Fellowship (JRF):

   • The upper age limit for JRF is 28 years as of the closing date of the online submission of the application form.

   • A relaxation of up to 5 years is provided for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD/female categories.

2. Lectureship (LS):

   • There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for Assistant Professor.
