Which PhD fellowship is better, the GATE or the CSIR NET?

2. If you cleared on the JRF level, you are eligible to apply for Ph. D. in any IIT/NIT/University /Research Institute throughout the country.

3. Contingency grant is provided on annual basis

GATE:

Pros:

1. You can get admission in IITs/NITs/IITs for M.Tech/ Ph.D. in India.

2. You will receive your fellowship on a monthly basis with no delay, except when there are some issues (which is rare).
