The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the notification for the IES/ISS Examination 2024. Eligible candidates can complete the registration process by visiting the official website, upsconline.nic.in, until April 30, 2024.

After the application window closes, candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections or edits from May 1 to 7. This recruitment drive aims to fill 48 vacancies, with 18 vacancies in the Indian Economic Service and 30 vacancies in the Indian Statistical Service.

UPSC IES and ISS Registration 2024: Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 200 to submit their application for this recruitment. However, women/SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.

Candidates wishing to participate in this recruitment campaign must be between 21 to 30 years of age. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for reserved category candidates.

UPSC IES and ISS Registration 2024: Educational Qualification

For Indian Economic Service, candidates should hold a postgraduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized university.

For Indian Statistical Service, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree with one of the subjects Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics or a Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from a recognized university.
