How many times can we appear for the CSIR NET exam?

1. No Limit on Attempts:
   • There is no limit on the number of times a candidate can appear for the CSIR NET exam.
2. Validity of Fellowship:
   • For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the fellowship is initially awarded for a period of two years. However, candidates can reapply for JRF if they qualify again.
3. Eligibility Criteria:
   • Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can appear for the exam in subsequent sessions until they qualify.
4. Improving Scores:
   • Candidates often appear for CSIR NET multiple times to improve their scores or to qualify for JRF.
5. Subject Change:
   • Candidates can also appear for CSIR NET in different subjects in different sessions if they meet the eligibility criteria for those subjects.
6. No Age Limit for LS:
   • There is no upper age limit for appearing for Lectureship (LS). Candidates can continue to appear for LS as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.
