What are the differences between CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test) and UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test)? Specifically, I’m interested in understanding how CSIR NET differs from UGC NET. Both exams are national-level eligibility tests, but they have different conducting authorities, eligibility criteria, and target subjects. CSIR NET primarily focuses on science subjects such as Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, etc., while UGC NET covers a wider range of subjects including Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, etc. Understanding the distinctions between CSIR NET and UGC NET will help me choose the exam that aligns with my field of study and career goals. Any detailed information regarding the differences between CSIR NET and UGC NET would be greatly appreciated.
