HP TGT Recruitment 2025 – Latest Commission Updates

Authority & Notification

• The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA) issued Advertisement 01/2025 (Dated 27–29 May 2025) inviting applications for 937 Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts across three categories:

  • Arts: 425 posts

  • Non‑Medical: 343 posts

  • Medical: 169 posts 

2. Key Dates

• Application Window: 30 May 2025 – 3 July 2025 (till 11:59 PM) 

• Admit Cards for HP TET (TGT category) have already been released by HPBOSE in late May/early June—essential for TGT aspirants 

• Written Exam Date: To be announced. Candidates should watch the HPRCA portal closely.

3. Vacancy Distribution

Each category includes sub‑quotas: General, EWS, OBC, SC, ST (with BPL/WFF variants).

4. Eligibility Criteria

A) Age

• 18–45 years as of 1 January 2025

• Relaxation per state/government rules 

B) Academic & TET Requirements

• Educational Qualifications:

  • Arts: BA/B.Com (≥ 50%) + B.Ed (1–2 yr) or post‑graduation ≥ 55% + integrated B.Ed‑M.Ed or 10+2 + 4‑yr B.El.Ed/B.A.Ed or B.Ed (Special Ed) 

  • Non‑Medical/Medical: Parallel criteria using B.Sc.+B.Ed or integrated degrees

• TET Requirement:

  • Valid HP TET, CTET, or equivalent and matric & 10+2 from HP (for non‑Bonafide Himachalis) 

5. Selection Process

1. Computer-Based Written Test – 200 MCQs (140 post-specific + 60 General Studies & Languages) totaling 100 marks; duration 2 hours 

2. Document Verification

3. No interview; selection depends on test merit & document verification.

6. Salary & Commission Updates

• Trainee Salary: ₹22,860 per month (~60% of entry-level pay) 

• Trainee Scheme: Under the Himachal Pradesh Govt.’s new policy, all recruitments now start as trainees with agreements, entitled to 60% salary and limited leave; regularisation follows based on performance 

7. How to Apply

1. Visit hprca.hp.gov.in → Signup → Complete profile

2. Select TGT Arts / Non‑Medical / Medical → Choose exam district

3. Upload documents, photograph, signature

4. Pay fee: ₹400 (General/EWS), ₹325 (SC/ST/OBC etc.)

5. Submit, then download confirmation

8. Notifications & Updates

• Major announcements posted on HPRCA website.

• TET Admit Cards already out via HPBOSE—must download to appear for TET exam

• Future updates regarding Exam Date, Answer Key, Cut‑Offs etc. will follow post-CBT.
