The application process for Junior Basic Teachers (JBT) recruitment has been started by the Department of Education Chandigarh Administration from today i.e. 24 January 2024. Teacher Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
Along with filling the application form, it is mandatory for the candidates to pay the prescribed application fee. The application fee for General, OBC and EWS categories has been fixed at Rs 1000, while SC, ST category candidates will have to pay Rs 500 as fee. Application fee can be deposited through online mode.

Chandigarh JBT Vacancy: What is the qualification?
To participate in this recruitment, candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree as well as two-year D.El.Ed. Along with this, the candidate must also have qualified in CTET primary level exam. The minimum age of the candidate should not be more than 21 years and maximum age should not be more than 37 years. Relaxation in upper age will be provided to the candidates coming from reserved category. Age will be calculated keeping in mind the date of 1st January 2024.
