UPSC CDS Apply Online Process 2024: How to apply online for UPSC CDS 2024

The UPSC CDS application process consists of two parts, i.e., Part-I (Registration) and Part-II (Candidate’s Login). Aspirants must follow the steps below to complete the UPSC CDS apply online 2024 process with ease.

Part I  (Registration)

Registration is the first step in the UPSC CDS application process. Here is a step-by-step guide to completing the registration process with ease.

Step 1: Go to the official UPSC website, i.e., upsconline.nic.in.

Step 2: Hit “New Registration” to register themselves on OTR (One Time Registration).

Step 3: The registration form will be displayed. Now, enter the basic details, i.e., the board exam roll number, name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, etc., to complete the registration process.

Step 4: Hit the “Submit” button to complete the registration process.

Part II (Online Application Form)

After the UPSC CDS registration process is over, all the registered applicants should fill out the valid details to complete the UPSC CDS application process.

Step 1: Log in with a valid email ID, mobile number, or OTR ID in the online system. 

Step 2: Enter all the required details in the UPSC CDS online form.

Step 3: Upload the photograph and signature in the specified format.

UPSC CDS Apply Online 2024: Correction Window

The commission also provides a correction facility in any field(s) of the UPSC CDS application form from the day of the last date of submission of the application form. This window link will remain active from 10.01.2024 to 16.01.2024. If a candidate wants to change their OTR profile during this period, they should log in to the OTR platform and rectify it accordingly. In other words, no change in the OTR profile can be made by visiting the window for modification in the application form.
