CSIR NET 2025 Exam Date – Latest Update and Schedule

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), in collaboration with the National Testing Agency (NTA), has officially released the notification for the CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 examination. The application process began on June 3, 2025, and will remain open until June 23, 2025, with the deadline for fee payment set for June 24, 2025. A correction window will be available from June 25 to 26, 2025, allowing candidates to make any necessary changes to their submitted applications. The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode on three consecutive days: July 26, 27, and 28, 2025. This national-level exam will cover five major science subjects—Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences—and is conducted to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professor positions across India. The city intimation slip is expected around mid-July, followed by the release of admit cards just a few days before the exam.
