HPSC PGT New Syllabus and Exam Pattern
The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released the new syllabus and exam pattern for the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) positions across various subjects. The updated syllabus is available for 19 Mewat vacancy subjects and 8 subjects for the rest of Haryana.

Detailed Exam Pattern
The HPSC PGT recruitment process consists of three stages: a Screening Test, a Subject Knowledge Test, and an Interview.
- Screening Test
- Purpose: To shortlist candidates based on category.
- Type: Objective.
- Total Marks/Questions: 100.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 25%.
- Subject Knowledge Test
- Purpose: Assess in-depth knowledge of the concerned subject.
- Type: Descriptive.
- Total Marks: 150.
- Weightage: 87.5%.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 35%.
- Interview
- Weightage: 12.5%.

The screening test will serve as a preliminary step to shortlist candidates and will not be included in the final selection. The subject knowledge test and the interview will carry 87.5% and 12.5% weightage, respectively.
