Candidates can register directly for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Editor Proof Reader and DTP Operators (NCERT Recruitment 2024) by visiting the office of NCERT in New Delhi on 1 February 2024 between 10 am to 3 pm. After this, one will have to appear in the skill test which will be organized on 2 and 3 February 2024.

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has released the notification for recruitment (NCERT Recruitment 2024) on contractual basis for the posts of Assistant Editor, Proof Reader and DTP Operators in the Publications Department. According to the notification issued by the Council, 60 Assistant Editors are to be recruited, out of which 25 are for English, 25 Hindi and 10 Urdu language mediums.
Similarly, NCERT will also recruit 60 proof readers (NCERT Recruitment 2024), of which 25 are earmarked for English, 25 Hindi and 10 Urdu languages. At the same time, a total of 50 posts of DTP operators are to be recruited. Of these, 20 have been kept for English, 20 for Hindi and 10 for Urdu languages. These posts can be extended for one year.
NCERT Recruitment 2024: Qualification as per posts
For Assistant Editor posts, candidates should have Graduation with PG Diploma in Book Publishing or Mass Communication or Journalism and at least 5 years of experience in related work. Candidates age should not be more than 50 years.
Similarly, for Proof Reader posts, candidates are required to have Graduation in English, Hindi and Urdu with 1 year experience. The age limit for these posts is fixed at 42 years. For DTP Operator posts, along with graduation, one must have one year diploma or certificate in DTP and at least 3 years of experience in related work is required.
