How many marks required to Qualify CSIR NET?

1. Minimum Qualifying Marks:
   • The minimum qualifying marks for CSIR NET vary each year and are different for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) categories.
   • Generally, candidates need to score the following minimum percentage of marks:
     • For General and OBC category candidates: Around 40-45% aggregate marks.
     • For SC/ST and PwD category candidates: Around 35-40% aggregate marks.
2. Subject-wise Qualifying Criteria:
   • CSIR NET has subject-wise cutoffs. Candidates need to score above the subject-wise cutoff marks in their respective subjects.
3. Negative Marking:
   • It’s important to note that there is negative marking in CSIR NET exam. For each incorrect answer, 25% marks allotted to the question will be deducted.
