Who can Fillup form for CSIR NET?

Candidates who can fill up the form for CSIR NET include:

1. Educational Qualifications:
   • Candidates must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Science subjects, including Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, and related fields.
   • Final year students who are pursuing their Master’s degree can also apply, provided they complete their degree within the stipulated time frame.
2. Minimum Percentage:
   • General (UR)/General-EWS candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks in their qualifying degree.
   • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PwD candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks.
3. Age Limit:
   • For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the maximum age limit is 28 years as of the specified date in the official notification. Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/female candidates as per government rules.
   • For Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professorship, there is no upper age limit.
4. Nationality:
   • Candidates must be Indian nationals.
