Applications were invited for UP Police Assistant Operator, Head Operator and Workshop Staff recruitment in March 2022. The board has said in the notification that the examination for recruitment to these three posts is likely to be held in the last week of January, 2024. A total of 2430 vacancies are to be filled under these three types of recruitments. Of these, in the radio cadre, there are 1374 posts of Assistant Operator, 936 posts of Head Operator and 120 posts of Workshop Staff.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates for the vacancies of Assistant and Head Operator will be based on the performance in Online Written Examination, Physical Test and Physical Efficiency Test.
